Play From Your Gut

Ever find yourself in your head, unsure of where to go next? This workshop is about making you a more instinctive player. You’ll do a series of exercises to move you past thinking about the “rules” and learning to play quickly and without fear.
There will also be a Q&A session after class where Dave will answer your questions about improv, auditioning, or anything else.
Dave Colan is a 10 year ve...teran of the Chicago improv scene, and now an actor, teacher, and director based in L.A. Dave spent seven years as an ensemble member of The Second City, performing on the stages in Chicago, Las Vegas, and around the country as a member of the touring company. In 2006, he was a member of The Second City-Denver cast that wrote and performed “How I Lost My Denverginity.” He’s also trained and performed at I.O., The Annoyance, UCB, ComedySports and at numerous festivals and theaters around the country
