Scott Black
Scott was born to perform, but is too much of a Capricorn to lead the life of a starving actor. Improv is a great outlet for his frustrated "inneractor". Scott encourages all the white & blue collar closet performers to come out and express themselves freely at the Bovine. Yay!

Dan Gietzen
Not a natural performer, Dan has learned a lot about self expression and spontaneity by studying Improv. As with many things in life, performance, and whether it struggles or flows, largely depends on one's state of mind. Too much effort often defeats itself; simplicity is usually the best way. Dan still sometimes forgets this, but is working on it. Yay!

Jake Sharon
Jake Sharon's Stand-up Style:
Jake Sharon is a silly, brain damaged demon. His improv background and his years of secret revenges fuel his manic outbursts on both improv and stand-up stages.

Jake is an active dufus. He jumps out of airplanes, climbs mountains, does yoga, bicycles long-distances and habitually exacts petty revenge. Plus, he was demoted at Blockbuster! Dang.

Jake has a history with the law. His dad is a police chief- yet Jake breaks the law all the time. Jake regales his stand-up audiences with his stories of his potato gun launches, pulling pranks, shoplifting, and skinny-dipping- all while working campus security.

Most importantly, Jake is an unfettered optimist. From the oil spill, to toe jam, to the withering economy, Jake talks about how you can find a bright side to anything.

Jake Sharon's History with Improv:
After graduating the Bovine Metropolis's 5-level curriculum, Jake got began improvising with
the following long-form improv troupes: Kick Ball Change, The Drinks, The Generals, Yay, and the Bovine’s House Group, Moo Crew.

Before he started traveling so much with his stand-up career, he also performed regularly in the Bovine Metropolis Theater's short-form show, On The Spot!

Jake Sharon's Successes:
In Denver, Jake is a regular at Comedy Works, Wits End, and the Denver Improv. He won the Wits End "Survival of The Wittiest" comedy contest. Nationally, Jake's video, "How to Build a Hobo Trash Can Fire" has had over 25,000 hits. Jake was featured three times in the Boston Comedy Festival. He took first place in the Starz/ Jumpcut Stand-up contest. His antics have appeared on ESPN, Warner Bros.' Elimidate, and Reader'sDigest.com. Jake was a finalist in USA Network's "Show Us Your Character" contest!

Overall, blah blah blah. He's funny. Come see his show.
