Jessie Hanson

Jessie Hanson started learning improv at the Bovine Metropolis School of Improv in 2010, graduating with the 52nd Class in 2011. She has played with Susan and her Magic 8 Ball, Platypus Surprise, On The Spot, AlphaSquad, and Ball Pit Popcorn. All this team-playing experience has culminated in her competing for the crown in 2012's Denver's Next Improv Star! She's proud to be a year-round bicycle commuter and in her free time she is a distance runner and a beekeeper. The bees do not seem to return her affection.

I'm a proud graduate of class #26 and #54. Yep, I went thru this whole thing twice and learned even more the 2nd time around. I also play with JonJon & Co once a month here at the Bovine. I just turned the big 50 this year and it's my goal to play fearlessly and to push my envelope in Improv and in life. This is the second act of life and I want to have as much fun as I can. I am a proud and out geek: books, music, games, cooking, foodie, museums. I still play role-playing games too. I'm currently in a LARP (live action role play) set in the world of vampires. Rock on!

Nic Howe

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away... Star Wars happened... Nic, on the other hand, grew up in Denver and loves the outdoors and the mountains! He was first introduced the the concept of improv in highschool and fell in love at first 'prov. He joined up with the Xcalibur team during college in WI where he honed his craft over the next four years. After college, not much is known about Nic's history, some say he went into hiding, some say he went on a quest, still others say he went and started a school to teach children how to properly bite their fingernails. Nic moved back to Denver recently, and is back after a sabbatical from silliness - ready to take Denver by Improv Storm! He can be seen weekends with On the Spot here at the Bovine and who knows where else he may pop up!
