David Saunders

David is the graduate of the class of 54. This is his first experience with Improv and he has had a lot of fun. David normally works in a pretty linear computer/electronic environment so stepping outside of that box has been exciting. He is also a professional photographer when he is not doing the tech. Samples of his images pepper the Bovine Web site. He also shot, designed and created the "Improvacative" poster for his Class mates. It is no secret that David likes warm weather, sandy beaches and sailing. The cold can make him a little grumpy but then David hangs out with his Improv friends and he gets a bit more cheerful.

David Schultz

Dave started doing improv based on the recommendation of an ex-girlfriend from High School, and things just haven't been the same since. He discovered that every minute spent having fun on stage wipes away one boring/responsible decision he's made in the past - and he has a lot more to wipe away. You can see him play on some Tuesdays as a member of Nancy's Apartment in the Laughing Dragon Cake Samurai Fun Show! You should come. Dave would like to thank every director/coach/teacher that's ever had to put up with him, special thanks go to Maude - you never forget your first love, and Dave gives big hugs and kisses (whether you want them or not) to people who come to see improv at the Bovine. We couldn't do it without you.

Dayna Scott

Dayna only discovered the right side of her brain in her mid-20s! Before that she spent hours in the library as a debate geek whose goal in life was to become the first female Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Thankfully, she realized there was more to life than logic when she took up improv classes at the Flynn Center and started performing with The Soapflakes in Burlington, Vermont. The big “A-HA” for her, though, happened when she arrived at this amazing formula: “Improv + high school students X grant monies = the perfect job.” Through her work with the non-profit Connecting Youth, she founded the See Why Improv troupe where teens could learn improv skills AND help educate their peers about important issues. Upon recently moving to Colorado, she hopes to refine this formula and continue the exploration of RB (right brain) while at the Bovine! Come see the synapses firing on ALPHA SQUAD this winter!

Jake Sharon

Jake Sharon's Stand-up Style:
Jake Sharon is a silly, brain damaged demon. His improv background and his years of secret revenges fuel his manic outbursts on both improv and stand-up stages.

Jake is an active dufus. He jumps out of airplanes, climbs mountains, does yoga, bicycles long-distances and habitually exacts petty revenge. Plus, he was demoted at Blockbuster! Dang.

Jake has a history with the law. His dad is a police chief- yet Jake breaks the law all the time. Jake regales his stand-up audiences with his stories of his potato gun launches, pulling pranks, shoplifting, and skinny-dipping- all while working campus security.

Most importantly, Jake is an unfettered optimist. From the oil spill, to toe jam, to the withering economy, Jake talks about how you can find a bright side to anything.

Jake Sharon's History with Improv:
After graduating the Bovine Metropolis's 5-level curriculum, Jake got began improvising with the following long-form improv troupes: Kick Ball Change, The Drinks, The Generals, Yay, and the Bovine’s House Group, Moo Crew.

Before he started traveling so much with his stand-up career, he also performed regularly in the Bovine Metropolis Theater's short-form show, On The Spot!

Jake Sharon's Successes:
In Denver, Jake is a regular at Comedy Works, Wits End, and the Denver Improv. He won the Wits End "Survival of The Wittiest" comedy contest. Nationally, Jake's video, "How to Build a Hobo Trash Can Fire" has had over 25,000 hits. Jake was featured three times in the Boston Comedy Festival. He took first place in the Starz/ Jumpcut Stand-up contest. His antics have appeared on ESPN, Warner Bros.' Elimidate, and Reader'sDigest.com. Sarah Silver

I've read lots of Playbill biographies so I know I'm supposed to list all my theatrical accomplishments. Sadly, I have none. Here's what I know: my family thinks I'm funny; my friends are kind enough to laugh at my jokes. I hope you will come to our graduate performances and laugh (or at least be polite and don't boo!). Love Bovine and Improv. Let the games begin.

The year of our lord 2011 has been the most enjoyable year for Micah since he did theatre in high school and so thanks the fates for leading him to the door of The Bovine during the 2010 Parade of Lights. As a member of the class of 54 he has made good friends, improved tremendously on his skills as an improviser and performer, returned from his shell a bit, and spent way too much money at The Rock Bottom. Micah is available for in-person viewings at Improvocative presented by the Bovine's school of improv class of 54 and January 2012 and with Ball Pit Popcorn, a Bovine house team.
