After graduating as part of class #5, he went on to work in several shows including On The Spot, The Young & the Maladjusted, The Sanscript players, and of course was a member of the Undeadjugfish. However undisclosed parties found out who he really was, and he had to go into hiding. (Just kiddin') Pete actually went on to graduate from the Columbia School of Broadcasting and The Ohio Center for Broadcasting, and is now proudly working in radio! Wray, Colorado is his home for now, and he can be heard on the air, doing commercials, live remotes and hosting the "TIGER" Oldies Show every Sunday afternoon on 1440 KRDZ-AM in Wray. (www.krdz.com) He really loves his 1959 Chevy pick-up truck! He should, that's where he lives. (Just kiddin' again..........REALLY!) How YOOOUUUU DOOOIIIIN'!!!! More info... Andy Waldrop Andy is a recent transplant to the Denver area. He was trained in Boston where he performed since 1999 with ImprovBoston and acted with Theatre-1. Although the thin air in Colorado makes him dizzy, he is excited to be a member of “On The Spot” and “Sans Script Players.” More info... Jim Walker Jim has performed improvisational theater in California and Colorado with groups such as the Didactic Duo, the Nonesuch Players, Your Mom, Bedfellows and others. A troupe member of Playback Theatre West, he performs regularly at the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder as well (www.PlaybackTheatreWest.com). Recent acting credits include roles with Colorado Light Opera, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company and developing two new shows for the Boulder International Fringe Festival. Jim's creative influences include cartoonist and experientialist Brian Fowler, who has said: "My art is an extension of myself -- but not in the same way my arms are." More info... Nya Watkins Nya is currently an improv student in the Bovine’s Players Workshop West classes and is so thrilled at her newly discovered Bovine Family. Cara Webb Cara is so excited to be learning improv at the Bovine Metropolis that she could pee her pants! In her free time, Cara enjoys walking into unsuspecting fire hydrants, broadcasting an indie music podcast, browsing record stores for the next rare vinyl find, hitting up coffee shops and dive bars for a decent drink, screenprinting, riding her vintage bike, and improving with the Boulder crew! Carl Wedell Carl, a graduate of the third class of Players' Workshop West, has done short- and long-form improv, as well as sketch comedy, scripted theater and music. He currently hosts Bovine Metropolis's Improv Hootenanny! on Monday nights, and plays at Impulse Theater on the weekends. Over the years, he has had the privilege of working with Comedy Helper, The ACME Comedy Players, The SansScript Players, P-RoCK, On the Spot, Supahstah Funk Trunk, Taller Than You, The Bat People, Making the Scene (his Players' Workshop West class) and Carleton College's Cujokra. Carl would like to quote Judy Tenuta, who said, "This is my plant. His name's Robert. Get it?" More info... Kent Welborn Kent began his life in a little place he likes to call Texas. He ate all the bbq flavored baby food he could until his family made the north west trek to Colorado where they don't have bbq flavored baby food. He was three, he was fat and he cried. Since then he has lost his baby fat and has performed with CU's improv team Left Right Tim where he found a love of laughing because it is "easy and it makes him feel good on the inside." He is extremely excited to be a part of the Bovine sketch show "Hark the Harold Zombies Sing" and he just hopes you enjoy the show. More info... Mo Welch Grad student at the School of Hard Knocks. Welch was born in a town called Normal, IL. Raised in Chicago. She is a stand up comedian and loves this improv world a lot. She does not like her Bovine Improv profile being so close to Jason Wenger. More info... Jason Wenger A graduate of class 43, Jason is.He claims membership to the groups Hot Mess, Hark The Herald Zombies Sing!, and MAUDE. More info... Kelly Wensing Kelly Wensing - prefers life up, dirty and shaken, not stirred. Kelly has been exploring improvisational comedy styles for more than fifteen years. She has been with Comedy Helper since just about it’s beginning helping it grow from a short form/sketch group into a long form/sketch group. She carries a leading role with Comedy Helper as a writer, director, actor, producer and “Girl Friday”. She enjoys all the performers she works with in Comedy Helper and performing their signature format “The Kraken”. Kelly has performed in the Big Stinkin’ Improv Fest in Austin, Texas, The Chicago Sketch Fest, in Chicago, Illinois, The Denver Improv Festival, and most recently the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Regional Festivals in Wyoming. She has taught Long Form Improv at the University of Wyoming, Cherry Creek High School, Eaglecrest High School and The Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Kelly burst into improvisational comedy from a traditional theatre background where she conquered the jobs of Theatrical Designer, Director, Producer, and Executive Director of an award winning Theatre Company. As an actor, Kelly has brought to life the characters of Jane Pennington in Lovely Letters, Ma Joad in Of Grapes and Nuts, Dorothea Lange in Migrant Voices, Azreal in The Creation of the World and Other Business to name a few of the more obscure roles she has loved. More info... Bethany Wessel Bethany has been a performer since she was a wee little toe head. Her first experience with improv was her high school team "Theatrical Garbage." Bethany has a degree in Music Education and teaches band, choir, general music, and private piano and voice lessons. Bethany hopes to keep playing with everyone at the Bovine for years to come! Mark Whitlatch Future graduate of the Bovine Metropolis Theater in April 2004, Mark Whitlatch is currently performing for the first time on stage with Sketchers. "They have told me that I'm always a character at work, why not on stage." He would like to Thank Eric, Denise and the Bovine Community for this wonderful opportunity and encouragement which has been very enriching in his life. More info... Stephen Wilder Stephen is a recent transplant to Colorado from Los Angeles, where he was a member of iO West, Second City Sings, Bang Studio, and Westside Eclectic. Stephen is the founder and director of Hit and Run: Musical Improv, which also plays at the Bovine, and he is also the executive producer of The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show, which performs regularly in Denver and Boulder. One time at camp, an entire box of fireworks went off under his chair. More info... Linda Williams More info... Ryan Williams Ryan Williams is in love with the stage. He graduated from Metropolitan State in Denver with a BA in Theatre. He is also a graduate of The Players Workshop West for long-form improv at the Bovine Metropolis Theater. While at The Bovine he also co-wrote and starred in three original sketch comedies and was a main player for On The Spot, a prime time short-form show. He has also appeared with Impulse Theater, Denver’s longest running show and was understudy to The Second City at the DCPA. He recently decided to make a go of the Chicago scene, where he performs weekly. Ryan is one of the founding members of CURDS ONLY!!! and you can find him anywhere injustice can be found! More info... Jake Williamson Jake has performed as an actor/singer/musician in the Denver/Metro area for many years. He has worked with such companies as Performance Now, Curious Theatre, Comedy Works, Miners Ally, Denver Center and many more. He is currently finishing up a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver. With his degree in musical theatre, he plans to be a manager at a Denny's... that or a ninja, he really hasn't decided yet. He would like to thank all who have come into his life and changed him. Meredith Winfield Meredith has many credits to her 'Moosume', including appearing in over 10 Bovine sketch productions, a trailer trash version of McBeth, and various other improv shows. A graduate of Bovine Metropolis Theater's Improv School(class #5), she is now a teacher herself. Meredith can be seen in Hit n Run Musical Improv, 539-ALI, and Two Girls at Once (TGAO). When not performing, she likes showing people various logos on aluminum cans. More info... Taylor Wingerter Taylor graduated with "Awkward Silence," the 37th class of the Bovine Metropolis Theater. She is a member of "The Fillers" house team, playing every Tuesdays at the Throwdown. You may have seen Taylor in the Bleu Cow 5 III sketch group, "Magic Critters" Battle Royale House Team, or the 33rd sketch show "Jingle with the Cringles" during the 2008 holiday season. Taylor grew up in Colorado, graduated from CSU, and lives in Denver. More info... David Wohl More info... Royce Wood Royce Wood holds a B.A. in Acting from the University of Northern Colorado. The last time he was on the Bovine stage was probably around 2004, when his improv group from Lakewood High School called "Don't Drink the Paint" played at an Improv Hootenanny. He was a member of the UNC improv team Chaos Theatre for four years, and was Co-Captain for two years. He is currently a Sales Intern at the Bovine Metropolis. More info... Shannon Wood Rothenberg teaches improv and is the Education Director at the Bovine! She regularly performs with several long-form improv groups and is also excited to be a member of the new Denver cast of "Hit & Run: Musical Improv." Growing up, her dad was a professor of English Literature at the Air Force Academy, so reading Shakespeare was as important as passing weekly bedroom inspections. Just for the record, Shannon loves helping stray dogs, Vivaldi's oboe concertos, all things Scottish, and her freakishly adorable twins. And no, that’s not her real hair color. Duh. More info... Chris Woolf Chris considers improv a religion and he's devoted. You can find him on the Bovine stage whenever they'll allow him, and all around town any other time. As a cast member of the 25th sketch show at the Bovine and a former member of On the Spot Chris bleeds black and white! More info... Robert Workman Robert is hard at work on perfecting his comedic writing skills and trying out new ways to be social without getting restraining orders. He appeared in the PWW graduate show "A Product of the Times" (class # 17) and is thrilled to be involved with "Sketchers". He'd like to thank his family (and maybe Jack), his friends, the lunatics down at Caps Sports Bar, Eric and Denise, his fellow cast members, and, of course, his shrink...also known as the bartender.
