"Biography - Life As A Comedy"
1/3 Interview, 1/3 Improv, 1/3 Pure Laughter
“Biography – Life As A Comedy” percolates improvisational comedy, impromptu poetry, interpretive dance and improvised live music on the Bovine stage as it takes its interviewed guest’s memories and aspirations to fuel Improv Actors to dive into whimsy and the unknown.
18 “real people” from the Denver metro area are the invited guests over the course of the run. They come from all walks of life as restaurant owners, mothers, professionals and all around very “human” human beings.
"In ‘Biography’ our improvisers re-imagine the events of our guest’s life in this comedic, fun and positive show. The Host interviews the guest live on stage about their personal history and experiences which lead up to a Big Moment in the person’s life." says the Bovine’s Artistic Director, Eric Farone. “Audience, Host, and guest all laugh together as the improvisers take these engaging personal accounts and spin them into a frantic, absurd and laughter-filled evening."
Bovine Metropolis Theater is located at 1527 Champa Street in the heart of the Denver Theatre District. Celebrating its 10 year anniversary, the Bovine is an improv organization that teaches and performs theatrical improvisation which is the art of accepting the unknown gracefully.
