International Hearing Dog: April 2010: Comedy for a Cause

An evening of laughter to benefit local non-profit organizations

The Bovine Metropolis Theater presents “Comedy for a Cause” to benefit International Hearing Dog.

The show will be "On The Spot" improv comedy in the style of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" Tickets for the event are only $20 with proceeds going to International Hearing Dog.

IHDI’s professionally trained Hearing Dogs restore awareness, independence, and security to its hearing impaired owner but responding to sounds in the home and in public. These special canine helpers are the “ears” of their owners, responding and alerting to many sounds the hearing world takes for granted; such as the telephone, doorbell, alarm clock, security alarm, fire alarm, and a baby cry. In turn, each Hearing Dog enjoys a sense of purpose and dedication to their owner and a loving home with a lifetime of companionship.
