The Bovine Metropolis Theater presents “Comedy for a Cause” to benefit Harm Reduction Action Center.
The show will be "The Bovine Metropolis eXperience" BMX an improv comedy show. Tickets for the event are only $16 with proceeds going to Harm Reduction Action Center.
The mission of the Harm Reduction Action Center is to educate, empower, and advocate for the health and dignity of Metro-Denver’s injection drug users and affected partners, in accordance with harm reduction principles. Harm reduction is a practical set of strategies, that meet drug users "where they are at." Known as the “Little Red House,” the Harm Reduction Action Center has been Metro-Denver’s primary provider of HIV/Hepatitis C prevention, testing, counseling, health education classes, and harm reduction services to injection drug users (IDU) since 2002. The Harm Reduction Action Center is a recognized expert in providing culturally appropriate HIV & Hepatitis C (HCV) prevention programming to reduce the negative consequences of injection drug use impacting individuals, families and the community at large.
